Caramel Puffs

Yield: 8 Cups

1/2 Cup Butter

9 0unce Box Corn Puffs

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Pecans, Optional

1/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

Place corn puffs in a very large mixing bowl.
Cook butter, sugar, and syrup on medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir constantly until mixture comes to a bubble.
Add baking soda. Pour mixture over corn puffs and add pecans. Mix well.
Put on a cookie sheet and bake in a 200 degree oven for 30 to 60 minutes, mixing every 15 minutes.
Spread on wax paper and allow to cool.
