Peanut Butter Cookies

Yield: 48 Cookies

The ingredients for these cookies were always available in mom's kitchen. We used to make peanut butter cookies all the time when we were growing up. -peggy.

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Peanut Butter

1/2 Cup Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 Cup Butter

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Egg

1 1/2 Cups Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat butter until soft.
Blend in brown and white sugars.
Add egg and peanut butter.
Mix.
Sift salt, soda, and flour.
Add to peanut butter mixture and stir until just mixed.
Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Roll doughs into small balls and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Flatten with the tines of a fork.
Bake for 9 minutes.
Let cool a few minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Once completely cooled, store in a tupperware container.
